DENNIS HARRINGTON

Born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, Dennis Harrington began his quest to embody the majesty of the West with “Guardian Spirit“, a monumental sculpture of Montana’s own native grizzly bear, on display at Bozeman’s Gallatin Field Airport, and other Montana wildlife bronze sculptures. Then Harrington’s focus shifted to the cowgirl image in 1999, resulting in his cowgirl bronze sculptures, depicting the iconic women of the West in modern-day form. Sensual, masterfully executed, and both innovative and evocative of times past, these contemporary western cowgirl sculptures mark Harrington’s entrance into the ranks of today’s most significant figurative bronze sculptors.
